Birmingham City signed goalkeeper Richard Kingson on a free transfer, in July 2007.

The 29-year-old signed a two-year deal at St Andrew's after deciding to leave Turkish side Antalyaspor following the end of his contract.

Kingson had spent the previous three months on loan at Swedish side Hammarby.

However, he struggled to settle at Birmingham and was released a year later. In September 2008 he linked up again with Steve Bruce at Wigan Athletic.
