Wolves completed the £1.5million signing of Senegal international Henri Camara from French club Sedan in August 2003.
The skillful striker - a houselhold name in Senagal after scoring his country's golden goal against Sweden in last summer's World Cup - signed a four-year deal to become boss Dave Jones' sixth signing of the 2003 close season.
He has played Camara has played 51 times for his country and scored 14 goals for Sedan last season, and so he brings masses of top-level experience to the Wolves ranks.
In the summer of 2004, Celtic fought hard to get the striker to move to Scotland in a loan deal, as a replacement for departing hitman Henrik Larsson.
However, they ended the loan early in January 2005 and Camara moved on loan to Southampton, where he remained until the end of the season.
When the Saints were relegated he returned to Wolves, only to finally leave on a permanent £3m deal to join newly-promoted Wigan Athletic just before the start of the 2005/06 season.
During his first campaign, he scored twelve goals in thirty-two games and added a further six goals in 23 games to that tally in 2006/07.
However, when new manager Chris Hutchings was installed at the JJB, Camara fell down the pecking order and was loaned out for the 2007/08 to West Ham United
