Emmerson Boyce

Central defender Emmerson Boyce joined Crystal Palace in July 2004 on a free transfer following the expiry of his contract with Luton Town.

The 24-year-old has spent his whole professional career with the Hatters and was a target for Watford after deciding to move on, but elected to join the Eagles after an impressive trial spell at Selhurst Park.

He went on to be a big player for Palace, but left to join Barclays Premiership side Wigan Athletic in August 2006.

His first season with the Latics was a good one as he made 36 appearances. He will hope for more of the same in 07/08.
