James Collins

James Collins graduated from the Cardiff City youth system, making his debut at the age of 17 in November 2000. Since then, he established himself as a regular for the Bluebirds and made his international debut for Wales in May 2004.

In July 2005, he made the move to the Barclays Premiership, signing for West Ham alongside fellow centre-half Danny Gabbidon.

He went on to make nineteen appearances and score two goals in what was a very impressive first season.

He continued this fine form in 2006/07 as he played seventeen games, and although he spent much of the 07/08 campaign injured, he is a vital member of the Hammers squad.
