Freddie Sears is a young English striker who got his West Ham United career off to the best possible start in a Premier League game against Blackburn Rovers in March 2008.

The 18-year-old came on for Nolberto Solano in the 75th minute and scored the winner six minutes later, heading home on the rebound after his initial shot had been saved by Brad Friedel .

Tipped by many as one to look out for, he has already made his debt for England's U19 in a 4-0 victory over Belarus.
