James Morrison

James Morrison made his debut for Middlesbrough in January 2004, aged just 17.

The central midfielder played for Boro in the UEFA Cup and set up a goal for Stuart Downing at Old Trafford in that season, making for a successful first campaign.

He continued this form in both the 2005/06 and 06/07 seasons as he gradually proved his worth for Boro.

However, in 2007, he decided to move on and joined West Brom for a fee of £1.5million.

He scored four goals in 35 appearances in his first season at The Hawthornes and will be a vital player for the Baggies in 2008/09.
