Felipe Teixeira

Filipe Teixeira is a well-travelled Portuguese midfielder who will be aiming to make his mark on the Premier League in 2008/09.

Starting his career with Portugese Third Division side FC Felgueiras in the year 2000, he proved a precocious talent and was snapped up by French team FC Istres in 2001.

A year later he joined Paris St Germain, where he stayed until 2005, when he moved back to Portugal with Academica de Coimbra.

After two solid season in his home nation, he decided to move on once again, this time to England and West Brom in 2007.

He played 30 games and scored seven goals in his first year at the Hawthornes and will be hoping to emulate this success in 2008/09 as the Baggies aim to stay in the Premier League.
