United face Xhaka battle

Manchester United face a battle with CSKA Moscow and Juventus to clinch the signing of Granit Xhaka at the end of the season.

Sir Alex Ferguson has been strongly linked with a move for the Basel midfielder, who produced a superb display against United in the Champions League earlier in the season.

The 19-year-old is regarded as one of the best young talents in Switzerland and is expected to make a big-money move during the summer.

But reports in Swiss newspaper Blick state that CSKA Moscow are keen to negotiate an £8million move for Xhaka, while Juventus are also in the hunt to clinch his signature.
