Luis Suarez may be on the verge of leaving Anfield in the summer after causing yet more drama over the weekend.

It is rumoured that he lied to his over supportive manager Kenny Dalglish, and with his actions – or lack of them – further damaging the clubs already fragile reputation, it is hard to see anything but an early end to his Liverpool career in the next transfer window.

Liverpool FC’s Managing Director Ian Ayre said: “He has not only let himself down, but also Kenny Dalglish, his teammates and the Club. It has been made absolutely clear to Luis Suarez that his behaviour was not acceptable.”
