Neven Subotic is set to be the subject of a £16.5 million bid from Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to reports in Germany.
The Borussia Dortmund centre-back has emerged as one of the most in-demand defenders in Europe over the past year, and was a target for Chelsea last month.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is not ruling out extending Thierry Henry’s temporary stay in north London.
The prolific Frenchman made a return to the Gunners after New York Red Bulls allowed him to go out on loan to his former club.
Since returning, the 34-year-old has already scored twice in five substitute appearances, coming off the bench to contribute Arsenal’s seventh in Saturday’s 7-1 victory over Blackburn Rovers.
“There is the possibility of two more weeks, but we will have to see,” said Wenger, according to The Sunday Mirror.
Should Henry remain at Arsenal for two more weeks, he would be available for the north London derby against Tottenham Hotspur on February 26.

Carlos Tevez was urged to forget about Manchester City and return to Boca Juniors, as he made a public appearance at Martin Palermo’s farewell match in Buenos Aires.
The City rebel was expected to play in the game to honour his former Argentina team-mate – a move that would have further angered Citizens boss Roberto Mancini – but in the end just took to the pitch to salute supporters at half-time.
According to La Nacion, they responded by chanting: ‘Leave the English and come back here.’
Tevez would love to sign for Boca Juniors, where he started his career, but the Argentine club could not afford the transfer fee or his wages.
