Robinho’s agent, Wagner Riberio, has said his player’s long-mooted move to Chelsea could still happen. The Real Madrid star has been linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge all summer, but the Spanish champions are hesitant to sell. However, Riberio has now explained: “Robinho never said that he wasn’t comfortable at Real Madrid but the thing is that he has a financial offer that is very interesting, it’s only that. So I have to say that until 31st August everything is possible. Until the transfer window is closed I can’t say where Robinho will play this season.

Fulham striker David Healy has welcomed talk linking him with a move to Sunderland. The Northern Ireland international has struggled to settle at Craven Cottage since moving there last season and has scored just six goals for Roy Hodgson’s men. The 29-year-old said: “I’m not angling for a move but if the opportunity arose before the deadline and if something were to happen and Fulham give me the green light, then who knows?”

Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko is on the verge of a move back to former club AC Milan, it is being reported. The Ukraine international signed for the Blues two years ago but has struggled to settle at Stamford Bridge. Owner Roman Abramovich and his Milan counterpart Silvio Berulsconi met up last week and it is thought a deal is close to being agreed.
