FOOTBALL TRANSFER NEWS

Pirates Striker Setting Sail For Bolton?

Premier League clubs Bolton and West Brom are reportedly weighing up January moves for Bristol Rovers hot-shot Rickie Lambert. Lambert is a target for a number of clubs following his goalscoring exploits for Rovers this season. The 26-year-old has netted 18 goals for Rovers this term and is the joint-top scorer in League One. Rovers know they face a battle to keep hold of Lambert when the transfer window reopens and they are believed to have turned down a substantial offer for the former Rochdale hitman on loan transfer deadline day. Bolton are believed to have had Lambert watched in recent weeks as they consider their options for the transfer window. Trotters boss Gary Megson is keen to bolster his attacking options and Lambert would fit the bill to the type of player he is interested in as he s a natural target man with a good goalscoring record.

I hope Rickie stay's with the Rovers although his goals have dried up the last month, he has scored some cracking goals in his time here, may it continue.

I think Kris Boyd should stay at rangers because thats where his heart is and rangers should pay him more money to stay. He is an out to out goal scorer and he does have another two may be more years in him. He is another Ally Mc coist.. i think keep him.

Rickie Lambert? Ok in the lower leagues, different world in the premier or even the championship, maybe a move to another div 1 club would be ok for him!

Walter Smith can't play Charlie (Beckham) Adams as he is unfit would not last the pace and should be the first out the door in January. Gers need a centre half, leftback and a good hard midfielder as Thommo has left a big hole since his injury.

I WOULD TAKE THE MONEY FOR BOUGHERRA AND BUY BERRA FROM HEARTS AS BERRA IS ALOT BETTER IN THE AIR AND IS SCOTTISH

Would expect around 6.5 - 7 million to part with Bougherra.Hopefully the board will resist because most fans rate him higher than Carlos Cuellar who went for 8.5million but we are in a habit of selling centre halves at the moment so i'm not too hopeful

If Smith does go to Ipswich Town or any other club then I hope it's only on a loan deal because when we cash in on Bougherra the left back position may come up for grabs.
