FOOTBALL TRANSFER NEWS

Wenger After Another Fab Starlet

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is the latest top flight boss being linked with highly-rated teenager Fabian Delph. Wenger has already raided The Championship to sign Theo Walcott and Aaron Ramsey from Southampton and Cardiff respectively, and now he is ready to go into League One to sign the England under-19 international. Delph only signed a new four-year deal last month and has pledged his allegiance to Leeds, but Wenger is said to be preparing a bid of at least £5million, £1million of which would go to Bradford, to land the player. Sunderland are also keen on the 18-year-old and are monitoring the situation.

Toffees In The Hunt For Reading Winger

David Moyes has been a long-term admirer of Stephen Hunt, and now it seems the Merseyside club are prepared to put their money where their mouth is. The Republic of Ireland international was linked with a £5million summer move to Goodison Park which never materialised, and Moyes is now determined to seal the deal in January. Hunt is desperate to be back playing in the Premier League after Reading were relegated last season, and manager Steve Coppell has told him he won't stand in his way if the price is right.

I think if shay given really wanted to stay at newcastle he should never have asked for a transfer request.

I'm glad robbie is back at spurs because with some off the new players we have we will end up going right back to the top off the table where we belong.

I cant beleive that Rangers have nursed Steven Smith thro a horific injury for the best part of 2 years only to try and get rid of one of the best prospects in Scottish football a product of the youth programme. where is the point in having a youth programme to bolster other team Chris Burke a shining example to name the most recent departure ???

I hope Rickie stay's with the Rovers although his goals have dried up the last month, he has scored some cracking goals in his time here, may it continue.

I think Kris Boyd should stay at rangers because thats where his heart is and rangers should pay him more money to stay. He is an out to out goal scorer and he does have another two may be more years in him. He is another Ally Mc coist.. i think keep him.

Rickie Lambert? Ok in the lower leagues, different world in the premier or even the championship, maybe a move to another div 1 club would be ok for him!

Walter Smith can't play Charlie (Beckham) Adams as he is unfit would not last the pace and should be the first out the door in January. Gers need a centre half, leftback and a good hard midfielder as Thommo has left a big hole since his injury.

I WOULD TAKE THE MONEY FOR BOUGHERRA AND BUY BERRA FROM HEARTS AS BERRA IS ALOT BETTER IN THE AIR AND IS SCOTTISH

Would expect around 6.5 - 7 million to part with Bougherra.Hopefully the board will resist because most fans rate him higher than Carlos Cuellar who went for 8.5million but we are in a habit of selling centre halves at the moment so i'm not too hopeful

If Smith does go to Ipswich Town or any other club then I hope it's only on a loan deal because when we cash in on Bougherra the left back position may come up for grabs.
