Kevin-Prince Boateng

German midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng was born in Berlin and joined Hertha Berlin as a youngster, working his way up through their youth system, breaking into the team in the 2005/06 season. He was capped at youth level by Germany, but holds dual Ghanaian-German nationality, so is eligible to play for Ghana as well.

After an impressive season in 2006/07, he joined Tottenham Hotspur for an undisclosed fee in July 2007.
