Alan Hutton
Position: Defence
Height: 6'1
Weight: 11st 5lbs
Date of Birth: 1984-11-30 Glasgow, Scotland

Alan Hutton started his career as a trainee with Rangers and made his debut during the 2002/03 season in the 2-1 win over Partick Thistle at the Firhill Stadium.
The young right-back enjoyed a good run in the team towards the end of the following campaign, starting the final eleven games. He turned in a fine display on his home debut against Dundee in March and scored against Dunfermline.
The 2004/05 campaign saw him continue his ascent, making 12 sporadic appearances in the first half of the season. However, a broken leg in a 2-1 home victory to Kilmarnock in February effectively ended his season.
Such problems didn't strike in 05/06 or 06/07 though and Hutton made rapid progress both with Rangers and with the Scottish national side, particularly in 2007/08.
In January 2008 he became hot property, with many English clubs reportedly interested in him. Later that month he joined Tottenham Hotspur for an undisclosed fee and was a solid performer in his first few months with the club.
