Grant Leadbitter

Sunderland midfielder Grant Leadbitter burst into the first team towards the end of their dismal 2005/06 Barclays Premiership campaign, becoming one of the few bright points of the season for the Black Cats.

He has been with the club since he was a young boy in 1993, but only made his debut ten years later.

It wasn't until the 05/06 season that Leadbitter truly made a name for himself though and as Sunderland embark upon another Premier League campaign, he will need to be on top form.
