Norwich City boss Nigel Worthington made Welsh international goalkeeper Darren Ward his seventh signing of the summer in August 2004.

The 30-year-old arrived at Carrow Road from Nottingham Forest for an undisclosed fee and put pen to paper on two-year deal with an option for an additional season.

However, his time at Norwich was unsuccessful as he played only once.

He therefore moved to Sunderland in 2006 where he has become Roy Keane's first choice.

Ward began his career with Mansfield Town before moving on to Notts County in 1995 and Forest six years later and has played more than 450 league matches as well as winning five international caps.
