Vincent Pericard
Position: Forward
Height: 6'1
Weight: 13st 8lbs
Date of Birth: 1982-10-03 Efok, Cameroon

Vincent Pericard first arrived in England by joining Portsmouth on loan from Italian giants Juventus in August 2002.
The Cameroon born youngster became an instant hit at Fratton Park scoring ten goals as Pompey pushed for promotion.
Harry Redknapp had wanted to sign the forward on a permanent basis, and after a lot of bartering the Serie A side agreed to let Vincent stay on a permanent basis.
He started life in the Premiership well, until injury struck. Pericard tore a thigh muscle in late September and although he recovered enough to make a return to the side, he suffered the same injury during the 2-1 defeat to Everton in December, and was ruled out for the rest of the season.
Pericard had surgery during the summer of 2004, but the rehabilitation process kept him out of the team throughout the 2004/05 season.
In Septmeber 2005, he moved to Sheffield United on a three-month loan, followed in February 2006 by another loan deal at Plymouth Argyle.
Pompey finally sold him for good in 2006 as he joined Stoke, but personal problems hampered his progress at the Britannia Stadium and he was loaned out to Southampton in the closing stages of the 2007/08 season.
