Danny Pugh signed for Manchester United as a trainee on 5 July 1999, and turned professional twelve months later.
The attacking midfielder broke into United's first team squad in pre-season friendlies before the 2002/03 season and will be hoping to continue his impressive rise through the ranks in years to come.
He made his debut against Maccabi Haifa in the Champions League and made four more appearances by the end of the season.
However, despite making further appearances in the Carling Cup in 2003/04, Pugh left Old Trafford at the end of the season, joining Leeds United on a free transfer.
Two years and fifty appearances later, Pugh moved on to Stoke City after enjoying a successful loan period at the Britannia and he proved a vital part of the squad as the Potters gained promotion in 2007/08.
