Date of Birth: 1983-09-18 Adamstown, Republic Of Ireland

Irishman Kevin Doyle signed for Reading in July 2005 for an undisclosed fee from Cork City.
A talented striker, he began his career with Adamstown FC but then went on to play for both Wexford and St. Patrick's Athletic.
His big break came in February 2003 when he moved from St Patrick's to Cork City, going on to not only score five goals in 39 appearances, but also earn himself a call up to Ireland's Under-20 and Under-21 squads, playing for the latter at the Madeira tournament and finishing top scorer as they won the competition.
He found his true calling in 2004 after being moved up front for Cork, going on to be named as the club's player of the season after scoring 13 goals, including strikes against NEC Nijmegen and Nantes in the Intertoto Cup.
Such success brought him a nomination for the Irish Soccer Writers' Personality of the Season, as well as the Irish PFA Player of the Season award.
The 2005 season continued in much the same vein and so it was no surprise when Reading came knocking, narrowly beating Aberdeen for his signature.
He has proved a vital player for Reading ever since and underlined his importance to the club in 2006/07 with 13 goals in 34 games.
