The 2004/05 season saw him become one of Pompey's most established players. He made 40 apperances, even getting upfield to score the winner in a 1-0 win against Crystal Palace in December.
He continued to be a reliable performer for Pompey in the 2005/06 season, although he only made 21 appearances.
He went on to make 39 appearances in 2006/07 and he is now one of the most important players in the Portsmouth squad.
