Middlesbrough confirmed the capture of Sanli Tuncay in June 2007.

The 25-year-old forward passed a medical at Boro's Rockliffe Park training ground agreed a four-year contract.

Tuncay was Gareth Southgate's second big signing of the summer following the £2million transfer of Jeremie Aliadiere from Arsenal.
