AC Milan playmaker Kaka believes Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo should win next month's Ballon d'Or award.
The Brazil international is vying with Ronaldo for the award after both players enjoyed exceptional years for both club and country.
Portugal international Ronaldo helped United win the Premier League title last term while Kaka was key to the Rossoneri securing the Champions League and was also voted UEFA Footballer of the Year for 2006-07.
France Football magazine will confirm who has won the Ballon d'Or on 2 December but Kaka believes there should only be one winner.
He said: "Ronaldo is the best, not only for his technical ability, but also for what he has done with Portugal."
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson agrees, saying: "The season Ronaldo had last time around was unbelievable stuff."
The Ballon d'Or award used to be known as the European Footballer of the Year, but this year has been extended to world football.
