Manchester United could be without Nemanja Vidic for Saturday's Premier League clash with Bolton after Serbia's Euro 2008 qualifier with Kazakhstan was postponed for a second time on Sunday.
Heavy snow in Belgrade meant the game, which had initially been postponed on Saturday, was again called off 24 hours later and rearranged for next weekend at a venue and time to be decided by UEFA.
Serbia still have a slim chance of reaching next summer's tournament in Austria and Switzerland and are keen for Vidic to play against Kazakhstan.
Serbia have to win their last two games to have any chance of clinching a top-two finish.
They play Poland on Wednesday but, if Portugal collect a point from their final game against Finland, Serbia's match against Kazakhstan will be a dead game.
If that is the case, Vidic may be available to play for United against Gary Megson's side after all.
