Michael Johnson

Michael Johnson is a young midfielder with big prospects at Manchester City after captaining the youth team in their FA Youth Cup run in 2005/06.

He worked his way into the first team in 2007/08, and managed to make his mark with a string of impressive displays and some cracking goals.

However, 2008/09 was a nightmare season for Johnson, as he was plagued by mystery pelvic problems that meant that he did not play after September 2008, and looked no closer to returning by the end of the season.
