Joe Hart signed for Manchester City in May 2006 from Shrewsbury Town in a deal which could rise to £1.5million.

His professional career with the Shrews began in the 2003-04 season, when he played a handful of games before becoming first choice shot-stopper in the 05/06 campaign.

His loan moves continued in 06/07 as he put in some superb performances for League One sides Tranmere and Blackpool.
