Stephen Darby

Young right back Stephen Darby is a product of Liverpool's much criticised Melwood academy. He played in both the 2006 and 2007 FA Youth Cup Finals, which were both won by Liverpool, over Manchester City and Manchester United respectively.

He made his first competitive appearance for the first team in the Carling Cup fourth round defeat to Tottenham during the 2008/09 season, and also made his Champions League debut, in a game against PSV Eindhoven.
