Diego Cavalieri

Brazilian goalkeeper Diego Cavalieri began his career with Palmeiras, making his debut in 2002 and was soon linked with a move to several European clubs as he became one of the most highly-rated keepers in Brazil.

In July 2008 he left Palmeiras to join Liverpool. He played four games in his first season at Anfield, two in the Carling Cup, one in the Champions League and one in the FA Cup.
