David N'Gog

French striker David N'Gog was born in Paris and joined Paris Saint-Germain as a youngster, signing for them as a professional in 2006. He made his breakthrough in 2007/08, catching the eye of Liverpool scouts, and he moved to Anfield in July 2008 for a fee of around £1.5m.

N'Gog made his Liverpool debut against Aston Villa in August 2008 and scored his first goal in December against PSV Eindhoven, adding two further strikes in his first season against Sunderland and Blackburn Rovers.
