Boaz Myhill started his career with Aston Villa at the tender age of twelve.
He moved up to the senior squad in 2001, but struggled to find a route into the Villa first team and was loaned out to a number of different teams, including Bristol City, Stoke City and Macclesfield Town.
His final loan period came at Stockport County in 2003, but in that same year he found a permanent club in the shape of Hull City.
He was a first team fixture for the Tigers in 2007/08, and his solid goalkeeping played a vital part in their promotion to the Premier League.
He was briefly replace by second-choice Matt Duke in the 2008/09 campaign, but soon returned as the Tigers narrowly avoided the drop.
