Wigan Athletic signed striker Lee McCulloch from Motherwell in March 2001.
The Scot came through the youth ranks at Jim Jefferies' club and made his debut at the tender age of 17 in August 1996.
Known for his versitility, McCulloch can play as either an out-and-out striker, or on the left of midfield, where Latics boss Paul Jewell has played him for the past three years.
He was a key figure for Wigan during their immense rise through the leagues and once more proved crucial in the 2005/06 season, playing thirty-five times all in all.
He scored five times in 30 games in 2006/07 and then moved on to bigger things in July 2007 as he joined Rangers for a fee of £2.25million.
His first season in Scotland was a hugely impressive one as he quickly proved his worth to manager Walter Smith.
