Erik Nevland
Position: Forward
Height: 5'10
Weight: 11st 10lbs
Date of Birth: 1977-11-10 Stavanger, Norway

Erik Nevland joined Manchester United in July 1997, but never really managed to impress Sir Alex Ferguson, even going away on loan to try to break through.
His efforts were to no avail, however, and in 2000, he joined Viking on a permanent deal, having spent a brief period there on loan a year earlier.
He stayed with the Norwegian side for four years, during which he proved his worth against English Premier League opposition by scoring two goals against Chelsea in the UEFA Cup in 2002.
He fine form attracted the interest of FC Groningen, who he signed with in 2004.
He continued to impress in Holland and eventually attracted the attentions of Fulham, with whom he signed in January 2008. He proved to be a canny acquisition for Roy Hodgson, scoring plenty of significant goals in his first half-season and first full season at the club.
