James Vaughan
Position: Forward
Height: 5'11
Weight: 12st 8lbs
Date of Birth: 1988-07-14 Birmingham, England

James Vaughan came on as a late substitute in Everton's 4-0 win against Crystal Palace in April 2004 and at 16 years and 267 days became the youngest player ever to play for the club.
He then scored his side's fourth goal to send the Goodison Park faithful into raptures as Everton remained on target for a top-four finish.
His progress in 2005/06 wasn't overly dramatic as he played just two more games.
However, during the 2006/07 season, he made a huge impression. He may have only played a clutch of games, but he looked sharp and skillful in all of them.
An injury suffered during pre-season kept him out for the first few months of 2007/08, but once he was back to full fitness he put in a string of fine displays. Injury kept him out for five months of the 2008/09 season, but he returned in time for the FA Cup semi-final against Manchester United, scoring his penalty in the shoot-out.
