Marc Edworthy is a versatile defender who is able to play in either full-back position, he is also a competent sweeper and has been employed as a defensive midfielder in the past.
He started his career at Plymouth as a trainee, but it was when he signed for Crystal Palace in 1995 that Edworthy started to make an impact, helping them get back into the Premier League.
When they were relegated in 1998, he stayed with them until a month into the new season when Coventry City gave him the chance to get back into the top flight. He was a regular for the Sky Blues during his time there, leaving in 2002 to join Wolves.
He was only at Molineux for one season, helping them to promotion before signing for Norwich, where he became a crucial part of their defence, working his magic again as the Canaries soared into the Premiership.
When the club was relegated back into the Championship though, Edworthy moved on and signed for Derby County, where he has gone on to become a reliable team member.
