Gary Teale

Scottish midfielder Gary Teale started out at Clydebank as a trainee before moving on to sign for Ayr in 1998. He played over 100 games for them, scoring 18 times.

In 2001 he moved south to sign for Wigan Athletic for £200,000 and he made 31 starts in his first season, scoring twice. He made 30 starts in their promotion season in 2004/05, getting three goals.

Although he did not score during the 2005/06 season, he was once more a vital part of the Wigan team, playing thirty-three games all in all.

However, in January 2007 he moved to Derby County where he has so far struggled to really impose himself.
