Craig Fagan

Striker Craig Fagan is one of Derby County's most exciting players, having signed for the club in 2007.

He began his career at Birmingham City, but only managed to notch up one appearance in two years at St Andrews.

A successful loan move to Colchester inspired a move there in 2004, but it didn't last long and Fagan was again on his travels in 2005, joining Hull City for an undisclosed fee.

Under different managers with City, Fagan played as both an out-and-out striker and right winger and managed to adapt to both well.

Such fine form attracted the interest of Derby County in January 2007 and he signed for Billy Davies' side for a fee of £1million.

He is a vibrant young player who could well make a name for himself in the 2007/08 season.
