Salomon Kalou

Salomon Kalou signed for Chelsea in May 2006 on a three-year-deal from Dutch club Feyenoord for an undisclosed fee.

The 20-year-old was a regular in Feyenoord's line-up in the 2005/06 season, but failed in his attempts to gain Dutch nationality in order to play for Holland in the 2006 World Cup.

The brother of Paris St Germain player Bonaventure Kalou, he is a young and exciting striker who certainly had an impressive first season in 06/07 as he scored nine goals in 25 starts.

This form continued in 2007/08 and 2008/09 and he is now a useful utility man for Carlo Ancelotti's side.
