Three months ago an irate Sturrock made Seip available for transfer and fined him two weeks' wages after the Dutchman refused to be a substitute for the Championship clash with Charlton Athletic.

Sturrock had named Seip as one of his five substitutes for the game, but the defender decided not to take his place on the bench on what was his 26th birthday.

The Plymouth boss said at the time of the incident: "I'm fining Marcel two weeks' wages because of his actions.

"It's appropriate to put him on the transfer list as well. I also feel that now is the right time for Marcel to get his hernia problem fixed."

Meanwhile, Sturrock also insists that he has received no concrete offers for Hungarian winger Peter Halmosi.
