Date of Birth: 1976-03-04 Middlesbrough, England

Journeyman Robbie Blake's epic career began in Darlington in 1994 and has seen him play for six clubs in a career spanning 15 seasons. Something of a Burnley folk hero, Blake is currently enjoying his second spell at Turf Moor, the first having taken place between 2002 and 2005.
Before that he established himself as a Bradford City icon, as his movement, creativity and goalscoring feats ensured him hero status at Valley Parade. His goals shot the Bantams into the promised land of the Premiership in '99, although he struggled to replicate this form in the top flight and the Bantams were duly relegated the following season.
With Bradford in dire financial straits, a move to Burnley was sealed in 2002. The striker soon regained his cutting edge, scoring prolifically for the Clarets until Premiership side Birmingham gave him a second crack at the big time in 2005. This too ended ignominiously, with Blake making the step down to fallen giants Leeds a matter of months later.
Back in the Championship, the goals flowed once more and a return to Burnley was sealed after two good seasons at Elland Road. Last season the veteran striker showed all of his customary sharpness and proved to be something of a Turf Moor talisman, belying his advancing years with a starring role in the Clarets' march to the Premier League.
