Ricardo Vaz Te

Portuguese youngster Ricardo Vaz Te signed for Bolton from club Farense in August 2003.

Vaz Te is a talented striker and after his debut for Wanderers in the FA Cup against Tranmere in January 2004, Sam Allardyce predicted a bright future for him.

"He has a great chance of being a top drawer striker in the Premiership, if we stay there. We have managed to find one at the younger end and want to hold on to him."

He is a valuable squad member for Allardyce, but will be hoping to break into the first team on a permanent basis in the 2006/07 season.
