Ian Walker
Position: Goal
Height: 6'2
Weight: 13st 1lbs
Date of Birth: 1971-10-31 Watford, England

When Ian Walker started out at Tottenham Hotspur in the early 1990s, he was one of the hottest goalkeeping prospects in England. He made his debut against Southampton in August 1992 and played 14 games in his first season.
1993/94 was a frustrating season as he only made three appearances, but he was soon a regular for Spurs and continued to be for many seasons. He earned three caps for England in that time, but never really looked like ousting David Seaman from the number 1 spot.
However, when Neil Sullivan arrived at White Hart Lane in 2000, Walker suddenly found himself out of favour. At the end of a disappointing season where he made just five appearances, he moved to Leicester City.
He has been first choice ever since, and stayed with the Foxes when they were relegated from the top flight at the end of the season. He helped them bounce back with promotion in 2002/03 and was rewarded with a call-up to the England squad for the first time in six years.
However, he couldn't help Leicester stay up and was eventually released in July 2005. That did lead to a return to the Barclays Premiership though, as he moved to Bolton Wanderers where he acts as an experienced and reliable understudy to Jussi Jaaskelainen.
