Bolton Wanderers defender Gary Cahill will be hoping to make a big impression at the Reebok after struggling to show his skill at Aston Villa.

The youngster began his career at Villa Park in 2004, but was loaned out during that season to Burnley.

He made some inroads during the following two seasons, but was again loaned out in 2006/07, this time to Sheffield United.

After falling down the rankings in 2007/08 he was sold in January 2008 to Bolton, and put in a series of solid displays in his first few months with the club.

He came on leaps and bounds in 2008/09, scoring his first goal for Bolton and winning a call up to the England team. He was linked with a move to Arsenal in the summer of 2009 but stayed with Bolton.
