Matt Gilks insists no-one will want to face up to the Tangerines in the Championship play-offs. Blackpool have won four games in their last six attempts.

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has dismissed rumours Matt Phillips is will leave the seaside club for Reading.

Ian Holloway says he is trying to resist his instinct to attack if it means securing a Championship play-off spot for Blackpool.

Robbie Fowler has scoffed at Blackpool's £90 per week offer. Fowler wrote about the deal on Twitter, saying: "It was £90, but would need to play full 90 (minutes) to get full appearance bonus."

Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey has asked to stay on loan at Blackpool for the season after a successful start to his loan spell. Shelvey has scored six times for the Seasiders and said: "Blackpool are a good team with good players and I have asked Liverpool if I can stay here for the season".

Gary Taylor-Fletcher has penned a new one-year deal at Blackpool, with an option of an extra year at Bloomfield Road.

Jason Euell has signed a contract at Charlton Athletic to go back for a second spell. The 34-year-old has penned a one-year deal at The Valley following his release from Blackpool.

With Carlton Cole likely to leave Upton Park this summer, West Ham have began talks with Blackpool frontman DJ Campbell. With 13 goals last season, he is also getting interest from Premier League clubs.

Blackpool have made Miguel Angel Llera their third signing of the summer. The defender leaves Charlton and has signed a one-year deal with the Tangerines.

David Vaughan has finalised his free transfer move from Blackpool to Sunderland by signing a three-year deal with the Black Cats.
