Height: 5'7
Weight: 12st 1lbs
Date of Birth: 1981-12-12 Ormskirk, England

After a successful loan spell at Bradford City during the 2002/03 season, the versatile Stephen Warnock was on loan at First Division Coventry City for the whole of the 2003/04 season, scoring 3 goals in 44 appearances for his adopted side.
Although he started in central midfield he has matured into a useful left sided player - either at left back or left midfield - and his versatility has proven to be one of the massive strengths of his game.
Steven made a massive breakthrough in the reserve team in 2001, picking up man of the match awards on numerous occasions and his excellent progress was rewarded when he was called up to train full-time with the first team squad.
The 2004/05 season, however, proved to be his most successful. After signing a new two-year deal in June 2004, he made his first-team debut in a Champions League qualifier against AK Graz.
Since then he continued to rise up the Liverpool ranks, playing at crucial stages in Liverpool's Barclays Premiership and Champions League campaigns. 2005/06 was another good season for him as he continued to make progress in the first team, though the new signings made in the summer of 2006 saw him shunted back down the pecking order.
In January 2007, he left the club to sign for Blackburn Rovers for an undisclosed fee and in his first half-season with the club he proved to be a reliable prescence.
This form continued in 2007/08 and 2008/09 and he is now a hugely valuable player in the Rovers team.
