Martin Olsson

Blackburn Rovers signed teenage defender Martin Olsson for a nominal fee from his Swedish club Hogaborgs in January 2006 after he impressed during a trial spell.

After making his debut, Olsson was voted Rovers Young Player of the Year for 2007/08, and signed a new deal in May 2008. However, he struggled through a terrible campaign in 2008/09 and is now on the fringes of the Rovers side.
