Garry O'Connor

Garry O'Connor moved from Lokomotiv Moscow to Birmingham City in a £2.7million deal in June 2007.

The Scotland international agreed terms on a two-year contract at St Andrew's, having struggled to adapt to life in Moscow since moving there from Hibernian in February 2006.

He struggled to win a regular starting spot in the 2007/08 season in the Premier League, making just 5 league starts throughout the whole campaign.

O'Connor stayed at St Andrews for the following season but, again, failed to break in to the first team on a regular basis. In all he played in just 16 Championship games, notching 6 goals.
