Franck Queudrue
Position: Defence
Height: 6'0
Weight: 11st 8lbs
Date of Birth: 1978-08-27 Paris, France

The French B international joined Boro in October 2001 on loan from French side Lens until the end of the season, and impressed enough to earn a permanent move in May 2002.
In his loan spell, Queudrue made the Boro left-back slot his own, and became very popular with both the crowd and his team-mates, especially when he scored in his second game for the club, against North-East rivals Sunderland.
After such a good loan spell, it was no surprise when Boro manager Steve McClaren snapped him up at the end of the season, and Queudrue will look forward to an exciting future.
He continued to impress in 2002/03, but indiscipline cost him too often, as he picked up five yellow card and three red cards. They also cost Middlesbrough, who missed out on a place in the UEFA Cup through the Fair Play League.
Queudrue was ever-present in the side during the Carling Cup winning season, though still managed to pick up seven yellow cards. The Frenchman's discipline will be an area that Steve McClaren will want Queudrue to work on in the future. He was rewarded for his performances with an extended deal at the start of the 2004/05 season, and is now contracted to Boro until 2008.
With that boost, he turned in his most successful campaign yet for Boro. He made 43 appearances in the 2004/05 season and scored 5 goals, including 2 in an amazing 4-4 draw with Norwich City. The only things which hampered his season were 2 red-cards and 7 yellows.
He continued this in 2005/06, helping Middlesbrough get to the UEFA Cup final and scoring three goals. More impressively he also managed to avoid any red cards at all.
In July 2006 he left the club to sign for Fulham for an undisclosed fee and his first season at Craven Cottage proved to be successful as he made 31 starts.
However, his time in London was brief and in August 2007 he moved on, joining Steve Bruce's newly-promoted Birmingham City side.
