Craig Gardner

Craig Gardner was given his first-team break over the Christmas period of 2005 with the club suffering through a mini injury crisis.

He made his debut in the final minutes of the Boxing Day clash aginst Everton and then came off the bench once more a week later against West Brom.

He has since became a regular Villa utility man, scoring twice in 11 games, and is sure to be a big part of Martin O'Neill's plans for the future.
