Date of Birth: 1988-01-16 Copenhagen, Denmark

Nicklas Bendtner is a young Danish striker who joined Arsenal from FC Copenhagen during the summer of 2005. He is 6' 3" and will therefore prove a huge aerial threat for Barclays Premiership defenders.
In August 2006, he moved to Birmingham City on a season-long loan, but returned to the Gunners in time for the 2007/08 campaign after impressing at St Andrews.
He scored his first league goal against arch-rivals Tottenham in December, and continued his impressive development for the rest of the season.
A sour note was struck when he appeared to clash with team-mate Emmanuel Adebayor in a Carling Cup semi-final game with Spurs, but Bendtner remains a valued member of Wenger's side.
