The 26-year-old has enjoyed two successful seasons in north London and helped Ramos' side win the Carling Cup last month.
Manchester United and Chelsea have been linked with the striker in the past, but Ramos said: "We want him to keep on playing for Tottenham.
"We understand he is an ambitious player and there are many clubs who want to sign him and he deserves it as he is a great footballer.
"I think my only secret is hard work and we are working in the right way.
"Good results have helped people trust our methods and when the first title came it was very positive for the club and the fans."
